A community wind orchestra based in Louth, Lincolnshire
Louth Wind Orchestra was first formed in September 2019 by professional trombonist and teacher, David Pearce, who is also the current Musical Director. As far as we know, it's the first ever wind orchestra to be established in the town.
The Louth Wind Orchestra rehearse weekly and is always open to any woodwind, brass or percussionists who wish to join the orchestra. We play a wide variety of music to suit all tastes, from musicals, pop, classical and traditional wind orchestra music, swing, jazz and even rock!

Join the LWO
Louth Wind Orchestra is open to anyone who plays a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument.
There is no audition and no obligation to join. You can even try your first session for FREE!
Rehearsals
All of the Louth Wind Orchestra rehearsals are held at the Louth Methodist Church, 2 Nichol Hill, LN11 9NQ, unless otherwise stated.
The rehearsals are 6.30 - 8.00pm every Thursday in the main church hall.
Musical Director
David Pearce is the founder and current conductor of Louth Wind Orchestra.
As well as conductor of LWO, he is also a busy freelance professional trombonist and teacher of brass.
