If you are interested in booking Louth Wind Orchestra for a concert - or to play at your next event - please read the information below very carefully to help with your planning.

It is important to remember that Louth Wind Orchestra is a large ensemble made up of 50+ musicians, and naturally require a lot of space to be able to perform.  While the band is very versatile as to what events they can play for, booking the band usually falls into one of two categories: indoor concerts and outdoor concerts/events.

Basic requirements:

 Louth Wind Orchestra requires a minimum stage area of 13metres wide X 10metres deep to be able to accommodate all the players, including enough room for percussionists at the back of the orchestra.  We are happy to arrange to come and visit your venue to measure the performance area.

 We will require 50 armless chairs.

 A suitable "Green Room" or backstage area will be required for the orchestra to leave their instrument cases and to get changed before the performance.  A separate dressing room for the Musical Director would be desirable, but not essential. 

 Parking should be made available near the venue to enable the orchestra equipment and percussion equipment to be unloaded.  

 We will require approximately 5 hours before the performance in order to unload the orchestra van and equipment and set up the staging area.
