Louth Wind Orchestra is open to anyone who plays a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument. There is no audition required to join, and rehearsals are held every Thursday evening from 6.30 - 8.00pm at the Louth Methodist Church, 2 Nichol Hill, Louth, LN11 9NQ (see map below).

There is plenty of FREE parking on the side roads after 6.00pm, as well as Cannon Street car park (opposite the cinema) and Broadbank car park, all just a short walk away. 



You can try out your first rehearsal session for FREE.  After your first free session, each rehearsal is only £5.00, and under 16s £2.50.  We accept cash, cheque (made payable to 'Louth Wind Orchestra'), and bank transfer (BACS).

We are often asked if you can 'just turn up' for your first time.  In short, the answer is YES!  However, if you'd like to contact us first we can ensure that there are enough copies of the music for each player.

If you decide to join us, all we ask is a commitment to regular attendance at rehearsals and concerts.

The orchestra currently has over 57 members and we play a wide range of music, from traditional wind orchestra repertoire, to musicals, pop, swing, jazz and even rock!

If you are interested in joining us you are welcome to come along to any rehearsal (see our Rehearsals page for upcoming dates) to try us out, and there is no obligation to join us there and then.
